About us
Al Sarab Dance Company (ASDC) was established in Lebanon in 1991 by Artistic Director Nadra Assaf, PhD. Since its founding, the company has created and presented contemporary dance works that emphasize audience interaction and collaboration across artistic disciplines. In 2018, Sarah Fadel joined the leadership team as Associate Artistic Director, further shaping the company’s artistic vision.
Over the years, ASDC has performed both nationally and internationally, building a repertoire that resonates with both local communities and global audiences. Beyond performance, the company is dedicated to developing young dancers through training and mentorship, while actively fostering cultural exchange with international artists and institutions.
