The Rite of Spring is a multidisciplinary production of modern music, modern dance and staged readings. The story of a young virgin female who gets chosen in a pagan ritual of Spring Awakening. The female is asked to dance herself to exhaustion surrounded by the elderly men and eventually dying from dancing. They sacrifice her to propitiate the god of spring. The young female represents many of us who sacrifice themselves to open doors to others, bring life, please society, and fit in.
The audience will be in for a monumental performance. We will let the audience navigate and investigate the concept behind this performance in their own way.
